China Bans Youtube

Google has confirmed the rumor that the government of China has blocked access to the most popular video service website YouTube.

Approximately 300 million individuals in China regularly use the Internet, and they all report that access to YouTube has been off and on over the past few weeks. Now, access to the site is totally blocked.

While the communist government of China continues to state that they support the Internet, as of now they say that they know nothing about the YouTube issue in their country.
