On January 29, I announced my Win Big Bucks With JWRmedia contest. From my count, there were 22 entries- and that’s being generous because the rules specifically stated that entries would be recorded by a pingback to the post- not by adding a comment saying “I posted about it here…”. But, because there were not as many entries as I had anticipated, I counted them all, and the prize pool added up to $110.

As stated in the contest post, I would choose the winner based on how creative/positive your post is. I had a hard time deciding, but I had to pick just one winner.

It’s been a few weeks since my last Twitter contest, so I decided it’s time to start a new contest here on JWRmedia.com!

This contest gives you the opportunity to earn cold hard cash, and for you blog owners, it’s simple to enter!

The way I’ll be able to track entries is by receiving a pingback comment to this article from your blog with your link to this article.

For each entry, I am adding $5 to the prize pool, up to a maximum $750. So, if 50 blogs have valid entries, the prize would be $250! ($5 x 50 entries)

So, the more entries that are received, the larger the prize becomes! You can increase the prize money by talking about this contest and getting others to enter. You can win up to $750!

$5 added to the prize pool isn’t bad for writing one post on your blog, is it?

I will review all the entries and choose the winner based on how creative/positive your post is. The prize money will be given out by your choice of Paypal or Moneybookers, and this contest will continue for one month ending on March 1, 2009.

Popularity: 100% [?]

Thank you to all who participated in my Twitter contest! I made the winning post yesterday and the winner was sourcedemo.

Sourcedemo won a $100 GoDaddy gift card which can be used on any of the products or services they provide.

I created this contest to boost my Twitter followers and I was curious to see how it would turn out. Actually, the end result was much higher than I had expected.

When I started this contest, I had a mere 33 followers, but at the time this contest ended, I had 388 followers- an increase of 355 followers in 6 days!

I love running contests- you’ll see many of them here. When contemplating what my first contest would revolve around, I thought about the fast growing popularity of Twitter.
