I am so sick and tired of seeing blogs titled or themed around “make money online”! How many of these blogs do we need!? Don’t you think the market is already flooded with those type of blogs already?
And for those of you who spend all your time reading these blogs as if they were the Bible- if you’d stop worshiping their blog and spend some time on your own, maybe you would start making some money yourself!
I find it humorous when I see someone with a blog theme of “make money online”, and their blog looks like garbage, it’s full of bugs and doesn’t function correctly, and chances are they don’t even make enough money online to pay for a cup of coffee.
There are hundreds of new blogs that are put online every single day, and the great majority of these blogs are started by people who are not very “Internet savvy” or who lack experience in website design, programming and search engine optimization. If you fall in to that category- don’t think I’m bashing you, but let me make things crystal clear for you- you’re not going to be an overnight millionaire! If that’s your goal, go buy a lottery ticket- your odds are probably much higher that way.
Hey, we were all noobies at one time, and I’m the first to admit that I was too. I find nothing wrong whatsoever at being new to this game- in fact, I find it admirable that so many have the willpower to go outside of their comfort zone and try something new. What I have a problem with are those who give these people misguided information and unachievable hopes and dreams. It’s a classic case of the blind leading the blind.
Operating a website is just as much a business as any other- it’s like your storefront, your business card and your TV commercial all wrapped up into one package. As with any other business, you don’t want to take advice from people who know nothing about your field, or who have tried to make it in your field and have failed miserably. However, I see it all the time- and I’m sure you do too- those new to the idea of opening and operating a blog are listening to and taking advice from people who are themselves failures (and try to lie about it) or who don’t know anything themselves and they try to make it sound like they do.
My Purpose For This Blog
Now that I’ve ranted & raved and made my point, let me tell you why I’m here. I’m not here to give you false hopes and to tell you that you can make $1,000 per day by throwing some Adsense ads on your blog.
What I’m here to do is to instruct new and experienced blog owners alike how to improve the blog you already have.
Instead of having an unknown blog with 50 different monetization efforts and ad networks slapped on every page and no visitors, I’m here to show you ways in which you can improve your blog based on things such as:
- Search Engine Optimization

Yes, I do talk about monetization because for the majority of you, your ultimate desire is to make some decent money from your blog- but that’s not my main focus.
It is my firm belief that by running a well optimized, functional, original blog, the end result will be that you “make money online” because you’re going to create a name for yourself, stand out as professional & original, and you’re going to have a blog that draws in new readers and keeps them loyal to your site.
I’m here to teach you the in’s and out’s of how to go about designing, customizing and optimizing your blog to make it more user friendly and more optimized for each engines, which will bring you lots of FREE targeted traffic each and every day.
So for those of you who don’t have any earthly idea what you’re doing- stop trying to run a “make money online” blog and come up with something original! And for those of you just starting out or who have even been in this business for years, stay tuned to this blog, because I’m not going to send you to fantasy camp. I’m going to show you how to improve yourself by working on your own blog instead of spending all day on others. I’m going to give you cold, hard facts and show you TONS of ways you can improve your blog which will, in turn, make you money online.
So I conclude this post with my philosophy:
Revolving your blog around making money is bad.
